Professional Internship Program
What the Program Offers — and Expects
Real Work Experience
Interns take on concrete tasks and responsibilities that build professional discipline, reliability, and problem-solving skills. Passive participation is not sufficient.
Access to the Think Hub (by Commitment)
Exclusive access to mentorship, leadership inputs, and peer learning is granted to interns who demonstrate consistency, accountability, and initiative.
Career Exploration with Ownership
Interns are expected to actively reflect on their strengths, interests, and future pathways—connecting learning to real decisions about university, entrepreneurship, or work.
Monthly Stipends (Linked to Engagement)
Stipends are provided to ease financial pressure and enable focus—but are tied to participation, reporting, and fulfillment of responsibilities.
Targeted Skill-Building Workshops
Workshops in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership, and work readiness are practical and applied. Interns are expected to transfer these skills into action.
A Leadership Standard
The AGF Internship is not guaranteed by age, background, or need.
It is earned through:
commitment
reliability
initiative
and the willingness to take responsibility—individually and collectively.
Schools play a critical role in identifying, supporting, and holding interns accountable throughout the program.
Outcome
By combining real-world experience, mentorship, and structured reflection—and by demanding ownership from all sides—the AGF Internship prepares young women who are not only ready for university, entrepreneurship, or the workforce, but ready to lead themselves and others.
The AGF Professional Internship Program is a leadership pathway, not a placement opportunity.
Through partnerships with schools and selected sectors, interns gain real responsibility, hands-on experience, and structured reflection—while being expected to actively shape their own learning journey and future aspirations.
This program is designed for young women who are ready to step up, not just participate.
